This once simple list of reciprocal links has evolved into a "directory within a directory" that is now larger than the original directory when it was initially launched. We have organized it into a hierarchical index to make it more attractive to other websites to link to the Silicon Valley Web Directory and to the Eureka! Internet Search Engine.
Since this link directory is also searchable with the Silicon Valley Web Directory search engine, it also expands the coverage of that directory. Our directory now includes every possible category of website in the world, with one exception, we do not list adult websites.
This link directory is now a very large nonexclusive all inclusive private club. The only membership requirement is that a website must be suitable for viewing by people of all ages, including children under the age of seventeen. I hope that websites that are listed here will enjoy increased visits from the very heavy traffic that wanders through our website every day.
If you would like a link from our directory to your website, there are four ways you can do this:
1. Establish a link on your website to one or more of our pages and notify us of the URL(s) where you have listed our website by using our contact form. You may use our banners and logos for hot links to our websites. We will then establish a link to the page(s) where you have those links. If you would like us to link to your main entry home page, you will need to place your link to our site on that page. We will notify you when your page is listed. This is usually in a matter of hours. You are welcomed to use our banner and logo gifs for your links as long as you respect our copyright notice that you should read.
2. You may submit your website for inclusion in our regular directory section by using our contact form. To be included, your website must meet our submission guidelines. You will receive a listing in our Check Out our References section if you also link to our website as described above.
3. You may sponsor our website by buying advertising on our website. We have a page that describes the advertising opportunities on our website. In addition to advertising, you also may avail yourself of the linking opportunities described above.
4. You may present our website with an award. We love the sound of applause. Our web pages have received many special awards and recognitions of which we are very proud. We also display these awards on another separate page. Lengthy and laudatory accolades are especially appreciated. In our humble and modest opinion, these are the best rewards for contributing to the net.
The home run. You can make a home run by linking to our site, getting listed in our directory, sponsoring us, and presenting us with an award. So far no one has made a home run. We love lists, so as soon as there is a home run, we will start a new list of home run hitters right here.
