Zipee is a directory search engine with a rather eclectic directory structure. Zipee uses frames which I don't like. They even frame sites that you go to from links on their results page which I think is very poor practice. It implies some kind of ownership. This type of linking has been challenged in the past as copyright infringement. You will find that the searches from this site will not be framed nor the links off of the result page. If you go directly to Zipee, you'll see the frames that I am talking about. Aside from this, I like the engine and it's directory. Zipee does accept submissions. They publish an Internet Declaration of Independence on their site which I found interesting. (9/8/99)
