AOL NetFind uses the Inktomi search engine. AOL provides help if you need it. There is a site submission page, but it uses the Open Directory database so if you've submitted there, no reason to do it here. If you would like to talk to AOL about NetFind, you can use their feedback page. In addition to the robot search from Inktomi, AOL NetFind has a directory. This directory is partially news, partially articles and partially sales catalog. I found it disconcerting and not very valuable. The entire search site has a commercial tone to it that seems excessive to me. AOL also offers search look ups for the White Pages and the Yellow Pages. Both are provided by other services. (9/6/99)
